Awards and prizes


The Malaysian Final

The Malaysian final and awards presentation ceremony will be held in June 2012*.

The prizes are as follows (per team):

Gold Award

.HSBC self-development fund of RM10,000 per team
.A trophy and certificate for each member of the team
.An entrepreneurial tour in Hong Kong** and the opportunity
    to compete with other gold winners at the Regional Competition
    to win HSBC self-development fund of up to HK$50,000

Silver Award

.HSBC self-development fund of RM7,500 per team
.A trophy and certificate for each member of the team

Bronze Award

.HSBC self-development fund of RM5,000 per team
.A trophy and certificate for each member of the team

* Dates are subject to change

** The entrepreneurial tour will take place in July/August 2012. This prize includes travel and accommodation costs for each team member and is available to winners who have valid travel documents. Winners are responsible for their passports and visa application procedures, when necessary, and all other expenses. In the event that the winners cannot participate in the tour or if the tour is delayed or cancelled due to any reason(s), the tour is non-transferable and cannot be converted or exchanged to cash.

 

Other Awards

Certificate of Excellence

Teams in the Malaysian final which perform well but do not win any of the awards will be presented with a Certificate of Excellence and cash prize of RM1,000 (per team) in recognition of their achievement.

Certificate of Merit

Qualified teams in Round Two who presented their 5-minute presentation but do not qualify for the Malaysian Final will be presented with a Certificate of Merit.

 

The Regional Competition

In the regional competition, the Best of the Best, 1st and 2nd Runner-up, and Technopreneur of Asia Awards will be presented. Each winning team will each receive a HSBC self-development fund.
